Manufacturing rarely makes the nightly news these days. When it does, it usually has something to do with job loss, plant closings or product recalls. It’s a refreshing change when a news story runs about what US-based companies are doing to remain
competitive in an ever-changing global economy.
Last week FOX News ran a story that attempted to answer two questions. What is lean manufacturing? And, is lean manufacturing the panacea needed to get American manufacturing back on the road to recovery?
