“Making” Our Future

There is much talk today among researchers and policymakers about the lack of a national advanced manufacturing strategy in the U.S.  The same thing could be said about states.  With that in mind, The Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) and The Economic Development Administration (EDA) are working with The National Governors Association (NGA) and several partners to convene a “policy academy” – a nine-month focused effort to help policymakers develop strategies and support to advance manufacturing in seven states.
