Abstract:
Value Stream Mapping is an essential tool for a Lean Deployment. Value stream maps are typically drawn by hand and then captured in electronic format for sharing, analysis and visualization.
This webinar gives an overview of value stream mapping and gives examples of different map types at plant and supply chain levels. It shows how a practical value stream map can be captured quickly and easily using a Quick Manufacturing template built on Visio and eVSM.

Dilesh Patel is a co-founder and Product Development Director at eVSM, a software company that specializes in capturing & visualizing the value stream
Dilesh is passionate about the topic of visual communication and has conducted training workshops in value stream mapping worldwide.
He holds degrees in Engineering from the University of Southampton and from MIT
