Lean Deployment Assessment (LDA)

The Lean Deployment Assessment Tool (LDA) categories and scoring correlates to the Lean progression of the site. 

LDA essentially has two purposes:

• 1.It enables the user to take an inventory of those Lean manufacturing practices that are employed on the shop floor and how prevalently these practices are found throughout the plant.
• 2.
• 2.Provides the user with an awareness of those Lean manufacturing best practices that are not employed on the shop floor or are not prevalently applied, and hence, should be considered for implementation.
