Abstract:
Quality systems and the use of quality tools have become standard practice throughout several industries over the past 30 years. These efforts have prepared us for manufacturing, but there are missed opportunities throughout the product development phases to improve reliability, reduce cost of tests, reduce number of engineering changes and improve timing to get product to the customer.
This webinar gives an overview of the difference between quality and reliability; introduces Reliability Maturity; explains what an Reliability Maturity Index (RMI) is, its importance, how to determine what yours is and what to do once you know your RMI.
