Every project manager knows that the support of senior management is a critical success factor in a successful project, and we often do not know how to get that support. There are great books out there on running a project that cover every detail a project manager could imagine except planning for the engagement of the senior management or tell us how to get the support we need when only senior managers can address the issues or problems facing a project.
