We hope you are ready to celebrate, because the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program is about to begin a year-long birthday celebration. The celebration will culminate in a 25th Anniversary Gala held in conjunction with the Quest for Excellence Conference in April 2013.
Our eyes are on the next 25 years because Baldrige is building an even better future as a steward of validated management practices, both nationally and for performance excellence programs around the globe. Malcolm Baldrige’s vision of competitive and sustainable U.S. organizations and the value created by the Baldrige Program continue today and into the future.
We know that the Baldrige community is spread out across the United States, and the globe, really. So we are creating a way for everyone to participate in this anniversary year. We’ve launched a Web page that includes a look at the past through photos, quotations, and Baldrige trivia; information on the 25th Quest for Excellence to be held April 7–10, 2013, in Baltimore, Maryland; and interactive content.
The Web content will be updated regularly, so be sure to check back. The Baldrige Program looks forward to continuing its journey to performance excellence in partnership with the Enterprise of Baldrige-based state and sector programs, the Baldrige Foundation, ASQ, and its stakeholders.
