Quality Blogger on Why Manufacturers Should Reconsider Baldrige

In his article “A Road Map for the Future,”  Jim Smith promotes the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence  as a systems framework for managing change, focusing on the customer, and placing emphasis on delivering outstanding business results. Smith, a blogger for  Quality Magazine, has 45+-years manufacturing experience, from working on the factory floor as a blue-collar worker to retiring as a senior manager at one of the larger divisions in a Fortune 30 company.
