Like most things in life, there are a different ways of going about the role of project manager. For many people a job in just the one company is enough to keep them satisfied. However, there are a number of reasons why you might want to consider a freelancer position as project manager.
This could be an option forced on you because you don’t find a suitable long term position in a firm but it is also something which many people do willingly.
