Sector-specific standards often include language from ISO 9001 to address quality management systems requirements.
Changes expected to ISO 9001:2015—including those related to new definitions and requirements—will certainly affect how individual sectors, such as automotive, aerospace and medical devices, handle upcoming revisions to their own guidance documents.
