Karakuri: profitability by an old revolution

Further explanations of the Glossary terms have been requested by a kind Reader of “Industrial Engineering 4 Lean Manufacturing”; then, let’s start from equipments designing & procurement and the related Lean Thinking approach known as “Karakuri“.

To step forward in the future it is sometimes needed watching to the past.
Let´s take our strategy from the Rugby play:
to be able to touchdown, we must hand the oval ball to the “colleagues” behind.
Those “colleagues” could be the engineers who built equipments hundreds years ago.
That strategy could make our business successful over any previous expectation!
