Last week NIST held another one of its excellent government cloud computing workshops. The third of a series, the purpose of this event was to elaborate on the progress of the NIST U.S. Government (USG) Cloud Computing Technology Roadmap through the activities of the NIST led, stake-holder driven working groups that were formed during the November 2010 event. The two-day agenda included a keynote session by US CIO Vivek Kundra and Mr Alan Marcus from the World Economic Forum. Presentations and updates were also provided by each of the individual NIST working group leaders.Read it>>
