At the 23rd annual Quest for Excellence Conference on April 4, two federal agencies, both Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipients, presented what they felt was a compelling argument for why Federal government agencies need the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. Especially based on the current federal budget challenges, I'd like to reprint their business case and see what you think. Could federal government agencies—and frankly all U.S. taxpayers—benefit from adopting the Baldrige Criteria?
